 DEFECTIVE IDLING
If crackling and poor acceleration occur and engaging the choke solves the problem, the motor is short of fuel.
(A) Check to see if the barometric capsule is of the correct length; that is to say, that it is compact and not excessively elastic.
If it is not compact, you must replace the capsule or, if you do not have a spare, you must add some thickness as indicated
in  figure number 44A.

(B) Check to see if the nylon small piston is running free in its setting. If necessary, dig it out and smooth it with sandpaper. After you
are done, you should put a small amount of liquid oil on the connecting surfaces (figure 45NP).

(C) If after you have checked A and B, the defect is still present, grease the carburetion at idling following one of these methods:

(A) If you have available a set of gauging small rollers, with the appropriate equipment replace the small roller (b) (see figure 44) with another
undersize. Check exact measurement by trying progressively smaller rollers with a variation on the diameter of 0.05 mm.

(B) Insert under the central spring (see figure 46A) a metal washer (see figure 46B). Check the correct measurement by trying with
different widths from 0.2 to 0.3mm.

(C) Insert a cardboard gasket under the cover of the barometric capsule (figure 44C) whose width has to be defined without going over the
measurement of 1.2 to 1.5mm.
